Back in September 2024, I received a message on Fiverr from Ryan, the founder of The Closers Club. Ryan had come across one of my previous Notion workspace designs and immediately liked the black aesthetic style. He told me he wanted something similar for The Closers Club, but a complete Business Management System with a lot more functionality behind it.

The Closers Club is an exclusive recruitment partner working with some of the biggest names in SaaS and marketplace businesses. Their mission is to help companies cut through the noise, attract top revenue talent, and build stronger teams through a content-led recruitment approach. Ryan needed a system that could bring multiple parts of the business together into one place. Instead of using separate tools and scattered information, he wanted a single workspace where his team could manage everything efficiently.

Turning Ideas Into a Structured Workspace
Once we discussed the project requirements, it became clear that this wasn’t going to be a simple dashboard. The system needed dedicated areas for goals, daily habits, leads management, business operations, company databases, project tracking, tasks, and deal pipelines.
Each section came with its own requirements and workflows. The goals area was built to help the team set targets and track progress over time. The habit tracker was designed to create consistency in daily activities. The leads management section gave the team a structured way to organize opportunities and keep track of their progress. For business operations, I created a central hub that included business goals, project management, task management, and day-to-day planning tools.
Ryan also needed a database directory where the team could manage business information, contact persons, roles, and company records in one place. To complete the system, I built a deals pipeline that allowed opportunities to be tracked from start to finish through every stage of the process.
Bringing the Black Aesthetic Vision to Life
One of the things Ryan specifically mentioned at the beginning was the design. He wanted the workspace to feel modern, professional, and visually appealing while still being highly functional. Using the black aesthetic style that originally caught his attention, I designed a complete Notion Business Management System that balanced appearance and usability.
The result was a workspace that looked clean and organized while handling a significant amount of business data and workflows behind the scenes.
The Moment Ryan Saw the Final System
After completing the project, I delivered the workspace and asked Ryan to review everything carefully. A short time later, he got back to me with a simple response:
“All looks good.”
As a freelancer, sometimes those three words tell you everything you need to know. Ryan was happy with the final result and confirmed that the system worked exactly as expected. He also left a 5-star review on Fiverr, which was a great way to close out the project. Knowing that the founder of The Closers Club was satisfied with both the design and functionality made the project Notion Business Management System especially rewarding.

What started as a message from a client who liked one of my previous designs turned into a complete business management system built specifically for Closers Club. Today, the workspace brings together goals, habits, leads, projects, business records, and deal pipelines inside a single Notion environment. Projects like this are a reminder that a well-designed system is not just about making things look good. It is about helping businesses stay organized, work more efficiently, and scale with confidence.
